• In this seminar, you will learn how to recognize and avoid common communication traps that often cause resistance, defensiveness, or misunderstandings—either in yourself or in others.

• How moralistic  judgments instead of observation block authentic communication. How to be honest without taking on the weight of someone else’s feelings. How to be honest without fear of hurting others

• How confusing strategies with needs creates conflicts. How to express what you want instead of what you don’t want

• How to connect with your feelings instead of thinking mechanically

The seminar emphasizes:

• Receiving Empathically. How to distinguish empathy as a response from habitual responses of non - empathy

• Self-Empathy, the core of authentic communication. Which phrases make me violent toward myself and how to transform them into needs

Instead of criticism, you will learn to focus on feelings and needs—your own and others’.
When people express their needs authentically instead of blaming others, it increases:

Day 1
Goals,  Awareness and Consciousness of NVC
Chapter 1: Do's and dont's  in Observation, Stimulus vs cause, value judgement vs moralistic judgment
Chapter 2: Do's and dont's in Feelings, feelings mixed with thoughts, distinguish feelings from non-feelings
Chapter 3: Do's and dont's in Needs, needs vs requests
Chapter 4: Do's and dont's in Requests, request vs demands

Day 2
Chapter 5: How to receive “No” and how to say “No” with compassion
Chapter 6: What is not empathy toward others, empathy vs sympathy and other forms of response

Day 3
Chapter 7: What is not empathy toward myself, self empathy vs repressing feelings, self empathy when a) stimulus is external and b) when stimulus is internal
Chapter 8: Summary, Role-playing exercises, the Giraffe dance
